Bob
Feller
HOF 1962 / 107.9 Fastball |
| $179
|
Bob
Feller's blazing fastball set the standard against which all of
his successors have been judged. "Rapid Robert" spent
his 18-year career in Cleveland, amassing 266 victories and 2,581
strikeouts, while leading the league in strikeouts seven times.
Fresh from high school, Feller amazingly struck out 15 batters in
his first big league start, a 4-1 victory over the St. Louis Browns
on August 25, 1936. He authored three no-hitters and shares the
major league record with 12 one-hitters. Many argue that Feller
was the fastest pitcher of all-time, surpassing even Nolan
Ryan in velocity. This vintage photograph of Feller in
action is a classic - never was his famous high leg-kick better
captured. Bob hand-signed this beauty with two inscriptions: "HOF
1962" to commemorate his Hall of Fame induction in that year,
and "107.9 Fastball" a speed Feller claimed he was clocked
at in a demonstration at Griffith Stadium in 1946. Quality (and
beautifully) framed and matted in thick mahogany, UV-protective
glass (very important for signature protection!), and gray double
matting, this is a vintage collectible that would make a classy
gift for any baseball fan.

you know?
Legendary pitcher Satchel Paige, who could bring on
the heat himself, believed Feller was the fastest pitcher
of all-time and told teammates, "If anybody threw
that ball any harder than Rapid Robert, then the human
eye couldn't follow it." And in a recent interview
Yogi Berra named Feller as the best pitcher he ever
faced. |

Rollie
Fingers new!
Baseball Card Display
(from
exclusive sports gallery signing)
|
| $229 |
Pitcher
Rollie Fingers' 17-year career epitomized the emergence of the modern-day
relief ace. After watching him post inconsistent results as a starter,
the A's moved Fingers to the bullpen. He excelled quickly and frequently
in his new role. Relying on a sharp slider, Fingers went on to notch
341 career saves. Known almost as much (if not more!) for his handlebar
mustache than his pitching prowess, Fingers became a familiar site
during the post-season, appearing in 16 World Series games. Along
with his three World Series Championships ('72, '73 and '74) and
'74 World Series MVP Award, Rollie also won on both the American
League MVP and Cy Young Award with the in 1981. His number #34 retired
by both the A's and Brewers, Rollie was elected to the Baseball
Hall of Fame in 1992.

Whitey

Edward
"Whitey" Ford was the "money pitcher" on the
great Yankee teams of the 1950s and early 1960s, earning him the
moniker "Chairman of the Board." The wily southpaw's
lifetime record of 236-106 gives him the best winning percentage
(.690) of any 20th century pitcher. He paced the American League
in victories three times, and in ERA and shutouts twice. The 1961
Cy Young Award winner still holds many World Series records, including
10 wins and 94 strikeouts, once pitching 33 consecutive scoreless
innings in the Fall Classic. Whitey was elected to the Baseball
Hall of Fame in 1974. This vintage photograph was signed by Whitey
in gold sharpie and is quality framed in thick black wood, UV-protective

Kirk
Gibson new!
LA Dodger World Series Home Run Photo

SGA
Immortal Moments Series |
|
An
All-America football flanker and baseball outfielder at Michigan
State University, Gibson was Detroit's number-one pick in the
June 1978 draft. But it was with the Los Angeles Dodgers that
Kirk experienced one of the most memorable baseball moments in
history. Joining the Dodgers as a free agent in 1988, Kirk Gibson's
intensity spurred the team to a World Championship highlighted
by his fabled Hollywood-like game-winning home run in the Series
opener. The National League MVP that year, Kurt was kept out of
the lineup by a leg injury. But with two outs in the bottom of
the ninth, Mike Davis on base, and the Dodgers down 4-3, Kirk
stepped to the plate as a pinch-hitter. Visibly wincing on each
swing, he fouled off four pitches before he hit a slider into
the right field stands off the A's HOF relief ace Dennis
Eckersley.
Photographs of Kirk pumping his fists and limping round the bases,
forever immortalized Kirk in baseball history.
Amazingly, it was Kirk's only at-bat in the Series but it was
enough to inspire the Dodgers to a five game Series victory over
the heavily favored Athletics. This terrific Dodgers and baseball
moment is captured in these three great Sports
Gallery Exclusive collectibles. Choose between either two
different hand-signed 8x10 photograph displays or an impressive
16x20 Photograph Presentation. The 16x20 Display includes a hand-signed
photo, replica ticket and commemorative plaque while the 8x10's
either have the plate or replica ticket. All are Sports

glass, and classic Dodgers double-matting. The presentation
is the difference when you buy your Sports

framing. A great gift for any non-A's baseball fan!

Rickey
Henderson new!
All Time Stolen Base Leader |
|
$329 |
|
Former
A's and Yankees OF Rickey Henderson is Major League Baseball's
career leader in runs (overtaking Ty Cobb in 2001), stolen bases
and walks (beating out the Babe in '01). Considered one of the
greatest leadoff hitters in baseball history, Rickey made his
major league debut with the Oakland A's in 1979. One of only a
handful of ballplayers to play in the majors in four different
decades, Rickey played in his 24th major league season in 2003.
A 10-time All-Star, Gold Glove winner in 1981, and the AL MVP
in 1990, Rickey did it all in his career, including playing in
five post-seasons. He won World Series rings with the A's and
Blue Jays and made the playoffs with the Padres, Mets and Mariners.
But mostly, what Rickey did was steal bases...ALOT of them. Rickey
Henderson is the most prolific base stealer in baseball history,
with 1,406 over his career - 468 more than runner-up, Lou Brock.
Henderson also holds the modern record for steals in one season
with 130 in 1982. On May 1, 1991, Henderson broke one of baseball's
most famous records when he stole the 939th base of his career,
one more than Lou Brock. This classic photograph was taken moments
after that historic stolen base. An unforgettable moment in baseball
history, Rickey hand-signed this photograph and we Quality
Framed the collectible in thick mahogany, UV-protective
glass, classic A's double matting, and commemorative plaque. A

Tim
Hudson
Oakland Athletics |
|
$189 |
|
One
of the A's "Big Three" hurlers of the early 2000's,
Tim posted another outstanding year in 2003, as he finished second
in the league in ERA (2.70) and third in both innings pitched
(240) and batting average against (.223). Tim's 16 wins were good
for eighth in the league. The lean right-hander is a complete
and highly competitive pitcher. With a fastball in the low-90s
and an effective splitter, Tim gets lots of groundball outs. He
also throws a change-up and a slider. Tim is an excellent fielder
and further helps himself by being tough to run against. This
1997 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year was selected by
the A's in the sixth round that season, and made his major league
debut in 1999. He has posted double-digit win totals every year
since. An All-Star at 25, a Cy Young runner up at 26, Hudson is
poised for superstardom. Get this handsomely framed and matted
photo of Tim in action during his Oakland A's days before his

Ichiro
Suzuki
At Bat |
| $399

In
his first year of MLB, Seattle OF Ichiro led the American League
in batting (.350) and stolen bases (56). His 242 hits were the most
in the majors in 71 years and he also won a Gold Glove for fielding
excellence. No wonder Ichiro won the 2001 AL Rookie of the Year
and MVP awards, becoming the first player to do so in the same season
since Boston's Fred Lynn in 1975. In 2004, Ichiro was voted a starter
for the American League All-Star team, making him 4 for 4 in All-Star
starts during his impressive four year Major League Baseball career.
A great baseball talent, Ichiro does not do many signings. Get this

Ichiro
Suzuki
Shades |

|
A
superstar in his native Japan -- one poll named him the most recognizable
person in the country, outranking even the emperor -- Suzuki got
his first taste of MLB action when he worked out with the Mariners
during spring training in 1999. Aided in part by Major League Baseball's
decision to distribute All-Star ballots in Japan, Ichiro became
the first player ever to top the All-Star balloting in his rookie
season (2001). The accolades continued after the season, when he
garnered both the Rookie of the Year and MVP awards. Ichiro's outstanding
bat control evokes memories of Rod Carew and has quickly made him
one of the best hitters in Major League Baseball. The momentum from
his swing seems to propel him towards first base even before he's
left the batters' box, forcing infielders to rush their throws --
even on routine grounders -- helping account for his .333 + career
average.
This great photograph of "Cool Ichiro" is quality framed
in thick black wood, UV-protective glass and Mariner-colored suede
matting. A great gift for any Seattle fan.

now he is part of the Yankees dream

In
2004, NY Yankees star Derek Jeter won his first gold glove. The
first of many no doubt for this sure-fielding shortstop. And fielding
is just part of what makes Derek such a special ballplayer. Jeter
made his major league debut on May 29, 1995, just a month before
turning 21. And it didn't take long for the Yankee faithful to
take to Jeter, as he earned Rookie of the Year honors by having
a solid all-around year in which he hit .314. He saved his best
for the postseason however, where he batted .361 in 15 playoff
games en route to the Yankees' first world title in 18 years.
Despite all the media attention that comes with playing in NYC,
Jeter has continued to produce on the field year after year. Throughout
his career, Jeter has been known as one of the best postseason
players in baseball history. Since arriving in the majors in 1996,
Jeter's Yankees have been in the playoffs every year (winning
the AL East Division all but once) and have won 6 American League
Championships and 4 World Series Championships. And Derek has
delivered each and every postseason. So much so that the Yankees
named him the 11th captain in Yankees history on June 3, 2003.
Quite an honor from the most successful and storied franchise
in baseball history. You simply can't go wrong with Derek Jeter
collectibles and this hand-signed 8x10 of Derek in the field is
a beauty. Quality framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass

Derek Jeter has become one of the best postseason players in baseball
history. Since arriving in the Majors in 1996, Jeter's Yankees
have been in the playoffs every year and have won 6 American League

postseason performance has been a major factor in the Yankees'
success. As of 2005, Jeter has a career .306 postseason batting
average and ranks among the leaders in many postseason categories:
2nd in runs, 1st in hits, 2nd in total bases, 2nd in doubles,
7th in home runs, 6th in RBIs, 5th in walks, 1st in singles, and
6th in stolen bases. Some of Jeter's most memorable moments have
come in postseason play. These include his eighth inning, game-tying
home run against Baltimore in Game 1 of the 1996 ALCS, his shovel
pass in Game 3 of the 2001 ALDS against Oakland, and his game-winning,
tenth-inning home run off Arizona's Byung-Hyun Kim in Game 4 of
the 2001 World Series. Jeter hit .500 in the 2002 ALDS, .429 in
the 2003 ALDS, .346 in the 2003 World Series, and .316 in the
2004 ALDS), further solidifying his reputation as a clutch player.

Randy
Johnson new!
NY Yankees |
|
$329 |
|
Randall
David "Randy" Johnson, otherwise known as "The
Big Unit," is most noted for two things: (1) his imposing
stature - at 6'10" Randy is the second tallest player in
MLB history; and (2) one of the most dominant fastballs in the
game. Since entering the League Randy has been among the most
feared pitchers in baseball. Opposing hitters have often remarked
that, because of his height and release point, it feels as though
he's pitching from ten feet closer than he actually is. Combined
with a 95-100 mph fastball and HOF-caliber slider, many batters
find him practically unhittable. And his career accomplishments
back up that assessment. Randy has won the Cy Young Award five
times, second only to Roger Clemens'
seven. He is an 11-time All-Star, World Series MVP (with Curt
Schilling in 2001), and has thrown both a no-hitter (1990 vs.
Detroit) and perfect game (2004 vs. Atlanta). He has led the League
in strikeouts nine times and is third (behind only
Nolan Ryan
and Roger
Clemens) in career strikeouts - #1 among left-handed
pitchers. Simply one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball
history, Randy collectibles are a great investment. And this hand-signed
action photograph, Quality
Framed by Sports Gallery, is a beauty. A great gift
for any fan of dominant pitching.

him forever to the same Bronx fans who once feared him as a member
of the Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians. This limited edition
(of 2000) photograph of David is handsomely framed and matted
and hand-signed by this 1990 Rookie of the Year and 2000 ALCS
MVP. A great collectible from the Yankees memorable 2000 season.
