Koufax
new!
16x20 w/ Floating Plate |
| $995
|
| After
LA Dodger Sandy Koufax finally tamed his blazing fastball, he
enjoyed a five-year stretch as perhaps the most dominating pitcher
in the game's history. He won 25 games three times, won five straight
ERA titles, and set a new standard with 382 strikeouts in 1965.
His fastball and devastating curve enabled him to pitch no-hitters
in four consecutive seasons, culminating with a perfect game in
1965. He posted a 0.95 ERA in four career World Series, helping
the Dodgers to three championships. Lefty was inducted into the
Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. This hand-signed 16x20 vintage
photograph is a beauty with perfect signature spot on the outfield
wall. Sports
Gallery Quality Framed in black wood, UV-protective
glass (very important for signature protection!), classic double
matting, and SGA Exclusive floating plate, this a timeless piece
of Sports Art that will be passed
down generation to generation in your family.

Larsen
First Pitch of the Only Perfect Game in
World Series History 10/8/56
So
reads the plaque on this terrific collectible - a classic in every
sense of the word. From Yogi Berra's famous "8" crouched
to receive the first pitch to the billboard ads for Balantine
Ale, New Filter Marlboro and Zenith Radios, this black & white
photograph is the definition of vintage. Of course, New York Yankees
pitcher Don Larsen was immortalized by his 1956 World Series perfect
game of October 8, 1956. Starting Game Five of the Yankees' Series
against the Dodgers, He set down 27 Dodgers in a row, outdueling
Sal Maglie and winning 2-0 for the only no-hitter...and only perfect
game...in Series history. Hand-signed by Don, this uniquely framed
and matted 8x10 photograph of one of the most famous performances
in baseball history is the perfect gift for that special baseball
fan in your life.

Before joining the Yankees, Larsen had a 3-21 record
for the 1954 Orioles to lead the AL in losses. But two
of his wins came against New York, who took him as part
of an 18-player deal that winter. |

Lincecum new!
8x10,
11x14 & 16x20 Photos & Displays (signed)
Spotlight 16x20 & 11x14 (SGA Signature
Series) |
| San
Francisco Giants Pitcher Tim Lincecum attended the University
of Washington, where in 2004 he became the first player ever to
be named both the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and the Pac-10 Pitcher
of the Year. In 2006, he finished with a 1.94 ERA and 199 strikeout
on his way to winning the 2006 Golden Spikes Award, presented
annually to the best amateur baseball player. Tim was drafted
10th overall by the Giants and made his major league debut on
May 6, 2007 against the Philadelphia Phillies. Tim earned a no-decision
that game but it was clear to everyone watching that nationally
televised contest that they were witnessing the debut of a special
young pitcher. Despite his small 5'11"/170 pound size, Lincecum's
arm is as strong as it gets as his fastball frequently tops out
at 100 mph. And in 2008, Tim showed just how special he is. On
May 15, 2008, after striking out 10 Houston Astros in 6 innings,
Astros first baseman Lance Berkman, no slouch at the plate, offered
his view of Lincecum: "He's got
as good of stuff as I've ever seen...he's got three almost unhittable
pitches." Tim went on to post a 18-5 Record, 2.62
ERA and a Major League leading 265 strikeouts, was a 2008 All-Star
selection and was the winner of the 2008 NL Cy Young Award. And
in '09 Timmy kept it going being named the National League Starting
Pitcher in the 2009 All-Star Game and again winning the NL Cy
Young Award, becoming the 1st pitcher in baseball history to win
this prestigious award in his first full two years in the League.
Oh and add 2x World Series Champion to his resume thanks to the
Giants amazing runs in 2010 & 2012. Sports Gallery has terrific
hand-signed action photographs of Tim's unique throwing style
in many different framing options and sizes, 8x10 w/ SGA Floating
Plate, 11x14 w/ Floating Plate, and very cool 16x20 Spotlight
(Timmy remains in color while background is in B&W). And All
are Sports Gallery Quality
Framed with thick black moulding, UV-protective glass
and classic Giants matting. Also, hot off our framing table is
a new addition to our SGA Signature Series featuring Timmy's unique
signature and great spotlight photo. The SGA
Signature Series is a great way to showcase athletes signatures
by featuring facsimile signatures on an inset floating plate.
Timmy's display looks particularly good with that cool sig of
his. However you slice it, all are great gifts for that special
Giants fan in your life! |

| Juan
Marichal is the pride of both the Dominican Republic and the San
Francisco Giants. Born Juan Antonio Marichal Sánchez, the
"Dominican Dandy"
won 243 games and lost only 142 over 16 marvelous seasons. The
high-kicking right-hander enjoyed six 20-win seasons, hurled a
no-hitter in 1963, and was named to nine All-Star teams (and was
voted the game's MVP in 1965). Juan twice led the National League
in complete games and shutouts, finishing and amazing 244 contests
during his career, while fanning 2,303 and compiling a 2.89 ERA.
Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983, Marichal eventually
became minister of sports in his homeland. One of only five San
Francisco Giants Hall of Famers (Sports Gallery has had all five
for signings
-Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Orlando Cepeda, and Gaylord Perry
being the others), a statue of Marichal and his amazing leg kick
graces the East Entrance at AT&T Park.
These very cool photographs and digital images were signed by

Mays, the "Say Hey Kid,"
played with enthusiasm and exuberance while excelling in all phases
of the game - hitting for average and power, fielding, throwing
and base running. His amazing career statistics include 3,283 hits
and 660 home runs. The Giants' superstar earned National League
Rookie of the Year honors in 1951 and two MVP awards. He accumulated
12 Gold Gloves, played in a record-tying 24 All-Star games and participated
in four World Series.
And
over 50 years ago, Hall of Famer Willie Mays made "The
Catch." It
came in New York's Polo Grounds, in the first game of the 1954 World
Series. With the score tied late in the game, Indians
first baseman Vic Wertz clubbed a long drive to deep centerfield
at the Polo Grounds. At the crack of the bat, Mays turned his back
to the plate, raced for the outfield wall, glanced up at the last
minute, and pulled the ball in over his shoulder. Nearly 430 feet
from the plate, he whirled and threw on a line to the infield. The
play killed the Indians' threat, and the Giants went on to win the
game and sweep the Series, the last Giants' World Series victory.
The photograph of this timeless play is one of the most famous in
baseball history.
Sports Gallery is proud to offer not one...not two...but three different
versions of this classic sports moment. The first is a hand-signed
1 6x20 w/ "The
Catch" floating plate. The second is part of our SGA
Immortal Moments, and is a signed 8x10 Display
that includes descriptive plate (see below) and Replica Ticket.
Our SGA
Signature Series, an unsigned Sports
Gallery Exclusive display that includes an SGA facsimile
signature floating plate. And finally,
the SGA
Impact Series features high-impact athletes in high-impact
framings. Available with 16x20 photographs, the presentation includes
double matting with cut-out feature, in this case highlighting Willie's
famous "24." An outstanding
display that is sure to get a big reaction.
All are Timeless collectibles of a special moment in Giants....and
baseball for that matter...history And all are great gifts for any
baseball fan! |

Bye

Baseball Card Pose 16x20 |
| San
Francisco Giants 1B Willie McCovey used a sweeping swing to belt
521 homers and collect more than 2,200 hits. "Stretch"
led the National League in homers three times and in RBI's twice,
also pacing the circuit in slugging percentage for three consecutive
years (1968-70). McCovey earned National League MVP honors
in 1969, 10 years after earning National League Rookie of the Year
in 1959. Said Sparky Anderson of the six-time All Star: "If
you pitch to him he'll ruin the baseball. He'd hit 80 home runs.
There's no comparison between McCovey and anybody else in the League."
One of five San Francisco Giants Hall of Famers, Willie was elected
to the Pro Baseball Hall of Fame in 1986 and his #44 has been retired
by the Giants. And, of course, McCovey Cove is the home of the "Splash
Landing" at AT&T Park - monster home runs (like
Willie hit) that clear the stands and land in San Francisco Bay.
The "Bye Bye Baby" photograph
(licensed especially for SGA) was signed by McCovey in bold silver
sharpie. This classic photograph comes in three sizes (11x14, 16x20
& 20x24), all SGA
Quality Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass
and classic double-matting. All also include a commemorative "Stretch"
plate. Our other Willie McCovey offering is a classic shot of him
doing the traditional (at the time) baseball card pose. Part of
our SGA Value Series
- Great Collectibles from Great Athletes at a Great Price - this
beauty includes Bic Mac's "HOF"
inscription. But hurry...we only have a limited

Kevin
Mitchell new!
SGA UnderFifty
Series |
$59.95
Web
Special! $39.95 |
| Kevin
Mitchell was a raw baseball talent capable of amazing things on
the field. Raised by his grandmother, the short, squat Mitchell
used baseball to escape the violent San Diego street gangs of
his youth, but not before collecting three gunshot wounds as a
member of the notorious Syndos. Originally drafted by the NY Mets,
Mitchell played six different positions for the World Champion
New York Mets in 1986 (hence his nickname
"World"), including 24 games at shortstop, finishing
third in the NL Rookie of the Year voting. On July 4, 1987, Kevin
was traded from San Diego to San Francisco and belted a pair of
homers in his Giants debut. Kevin went on to hit .306 the rest
of the season as the Giants won the NL West. However, the 1989
season was the pinnacle of Mitchell's career. After two seasons
playing primarily at third base, he had his best season with the
Giants in 1989 upon being moved to the outfield. In that season,
he batted .291 with a league-best 125 RBI and 47 home runs, leading
the team to the playoffs and winning the National League's MVP
Award, the first by a Giant since Willie
McCovey in 1969. He added a .353 average and 2 homers
in the NLCS to help the team to its first World Series appearance
since 1962. Kevin is also most known for an excellent defensive
play, making a running bare-handed catch of a fly ball to deep
left field in St. Louis' Busch Stadium off of Ozzie Smith. This
remarkable catch is considered by many to be one of the best defensive
plays in the history of the game. This classic photo of Kevin
at the plate is hand-signed by Mitchell and is part of our SGA
UnderFifty Series,
our best signed and unsigned framed values. A great way to add
a signed collectible from a classic Giant to your wall at a crazy
low price.
