The
Miami Dolphins selected University of Pittsburgh QB Dan Marino
with the 27th overall pick in the 1983 draft. He was the fifth
quarterback selected in that draft. The pick turned out to be
a steal. In his first professional season, Marino threw for 2,210
yards and 20 touchdowns. He was named NFL Rookie of the Year and
he was also the first rookie to start at quarterback in the Pro
Bowl. When Marino announced his retirement on March 13, 2000,
he held 25 NFL regular season records and was tied for 5 others.
In his 17-year career he passed for 61,361 yards and 420 touchdowns.
His 86.4 passing efficiency rating ranks 4th all-time. This official
NFL ball is hand-signed by this Hall of Famer (Class of 2005)
in silver along with his famous #13. [why

Known
by many as "The Comeback Kid," QB Joe Montana engineered
an astounding 31 4th Quarter comebacks during his magnificent
NFL career, including a 92-yard drive in the closing seconds of
Super Bowl XXIII. In 1994, this Hall of Famer and four-time Super
Bowl Champion became just the fifth QB (at that time) to pass
for more than 40,000 yards in a career.

QB
Joe Namath is best remembered for his performance in the New York
Jets' stunning 16-7 upset of the heavily favored Baltimore Colts
in Super Bowl III. However, during his 13-year tenure from 1965
through 1977 he was one of the game's most exciting, proficient
and publicized quarterbacks. In 1967, he became the first quarterback
to pass for more than 4,000 yards in one season. In 1968, he capped
off AFL Player of the Year and unanimous All-Pro selection with
MVP honors in Super Bowl III. Namath's pre-game "guarantee"
of victory backed up by his 206-yard passing production was a
major factor in assuring the competitive viability of the AFL-NFL
Super Bowl series. Namath earned all-league accolades four times
in his career (1967, 1968, 1969, and 1972) and was named to the
all-time AFL honor team in 1969. Joe was elected to the Football
Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 1985. [why

As
Jerry's Agent likes to say...Jerry is a GOAT
(Greatest Of All Time).
He holds an amazing 14 NFL records - including career receptions,
receiving yards, and touchdowns - and is a member of the NFL's
75th Anniversary Team. He also owns 10 Super Bowl records while
earning three Super Bowl rings with the 49ers in 1989, '90,
and '94. Jerry was named Super Bowl MVP in the 1989 contest,
Super Bowl XXIII.
Rice
was named NFL Player of the Year twice and received a staggering
12 Pro Bowl invitations. Get the picture? The guy was good...without
a doubt the greatest receiver to have ever played. And this
football is a beauty. An official ball from Super Bowl XXIII,
where SF captured its third Super Bowl of the 1980's by defeating
Cincinnati 20-16. Rice was named the game's most valuable player
after compiling 11 catches for a Super Bowl-record 215 yards.
Jerry signature on this ball (along with his famous #80) in
bold silver sharpie never looked better. A great gift for that
special football fan. [why

Detroit
Lions RB Barry Sanders finished his career as the third-leading
rusher of all time (15,269 yards) behind only Walter Payton
and Emmit Smith. If he had not retired early he likely would
have made a serious run at this record. He also holds the all-time
NFL record for consecutive 1,000-yard seasons (10, 1989-1998)
and tied the NFL record for total 1,000-yard rushing seasons
(10). Add the 1988 Heisman Trophy, 1989 NFL Rookie of the Year,
the 1997 Sporting News Player of the Year Awards and it is clear
that Barry was one of the greatest NFL runningbacks of all time. [why

RB
Emmitt Smith was selected in the first round of the 1990 NFL draft
by the Dallas Cowboys after his junior season at Florida. What
a pick it turned out to be. Emmitt, who recently retired after
a 15-year NFL career, holds the NFL record for most career yards
(18,335 yards), rushing touchdowns (164), 1,000 yard seasons (11
consecutive seasons between 1991-2001) and 100 yard games (78).
Awards include: 1990 Rookie of the Year, Three-time Super Bowl
Champion, Super Bowl MVP (XXVIII), Eight-time Pro-Bowl selection,
NFL MVP (1993), Sportsman of the Year (1994), among others. An
eight-time Pro-Bowler and consummate Cowboy, Emmitt hand-signed
this official NFL football along with his famous number #22. A
must for any Cowboys fan. [why

Steve
Young had the near impossible task of succeeding Joe
Montana as the starting QB of the San Francisco 49ers.
But succeed he did! He was the starting QB for the 49ers from
1991-1999. Selected the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1992 and
1994, Steve was also named the Super Bowl XXIX MVP after passing
for a Super Bowl record six touchdowns in the 49ers 49-26 trouncing
of San Diego. A BYU graduate, Steve was a left-handed quarterback,
making him the only lefty QB elected to the Pro Football Hall
of Fame (Class of 2005).
This official NFL football is hand-signed by Steve boldly in silver
sharpie. One of the classier signatures in sports, this Steve
Young football would make a great gift for any Niners fan. [why

Steve has had quite a career after football as well,
earning a J.D. degree from BYU's College of Law and
co-founding and directing Sorenson Capital, a venture
capital firm in Palo Alto, CA. Steve also founded,
and chairs, the Forever Young Foundation, a youth
organization active in children charities in the San
Francisco Bay Area and Utah. An impressive resume
both on...and off...the field.
