| Texas
native Ben Hogan began his professional golfing career in 1931
and was by most accounts the greatest golfer of his time and one
of the greatest of all-time. In 1948 alone, Ben Hogan won an astounding
10 tournaments. Tragically, the following winter a head-on collision
with a bus nearly killed him. With a double fracture of the pelvis,
a fractured collar bone, left ankle fracture, chipped rib, and
near fatal blood clots, he would suffer lifelong circulation problems
and other physical limitations. His doctors said he might never
walk again, let alone play golf competitively. However, he not
only played again, he won again...and again...and again. In one
of the most famous comebacks in the annals of sports, Hogan defeated
Lloyd Mangrum and George Fazio in an 18 hole playoff at Merion
C.C. to win the 1950 U.S. Open. Hogan went on to record 12 more
PGA wins, including 6 Majors. He even received a ticker-tape parade
in New York City after winning the 1953 Open Championship. And
this astounding comeback all started with this historic shot.
A still-weakened Hogan faced an approach shot of more than 200
yards on the 18th Hole. Ben pulled out his 1-iron (1-iron!) and
stuck his shot within 40 feet of the hole. His eventual par on
the hole forced the play-off which he won. And a golf legend was
born... This handsome framed unsigned 16x20 photograph of that
legendary shot would make a fine addition to any golfer's home
or office. And for a limited time it is a Web

| Did
you know?
It is a well known fact the Ben Hogan, one of the greatest
ball strikers of all time, never had a competitive ace
(hole-in-one). Sharon Ray, his longtime secretary, claims
Hogan never made one in leisure play either. Author
Jim Dodson says that in the early days, pins were made
of hickory so when Hogan would hit the flagstick, the
ball would bounce off the green. He said Hogan stopped
aiming at the cup because of that. |

With his favorite
course, Pebble Beach Golf Links, as the backdrop, Jack Nicklaus’
appearance in the 2000 U.S. Open was his 44th and final start
in a U.S. Open Championship. The 2000 United States Open Championship
was the 100th U.S. Open and was won by Tiger Woods in a historic
rout. But it is equally famous as the last Open played by "The
Golden Bear." Widely regarded as one of...if not THE...greatest
golfers of all-time, Jack won 18 career major championships on
the PGA Tour over a span of 25 years. In addition to his 18 Majors,
he was runner-up a record 19 times, and placed 3rd an additional
9 times. Jack won the US Open four times. Fittingly, Jack added
one more memorable US Open moment to his resume on the last hole.
On Pebble's famous Par 5 18th, Nicklaus electrified the crowd
by reaching the par-5 finishing hole in two with a 3-wood from
261 yards. What a way to go out! This great collectible includes
a signed replica 18th Hole Flag from this memorable US Open. Then
we go to work giving it a beautiful Quality Presentation that
includes thick mahogany moulding, suede matting and commemorative
SGA Floating Plate. Just a beautiful piece of Sports
Art that any golf fan will cherish.

Nicklaus & Arnold Palmer

Arnie & Jack 16x20 & 11x14 Photographs

| Arnold
Palmer vs. Jack Nicklaus: The Greatest Golf Rivalry of all time.
And the Nicklaus-Palmer rivalry came at a critical time for the
sport of golf, and paved the way for golf becoming the sport it
is today. This was especially true in regards to fan interest,
and particularly, in regards to television. When Nicklaus entered
the professional golf arena, Palmer was the man on top; the player
who was widely considered to be the best player in the game. However,
Nicklaus rapidly asserted his presence on the game. Palmer came
from a poor background, Nicklaus was privileged; Palmer was made
for Hollywood, Nicklaus was a chubby kid with a crew cut; Palmer
drew the ball, Nicklaus played with a fade. Inevitably, Nicklaus,
11 years the younger, became the enemy of
“Arnie’s Army”, which seemed only to
spur him on. In the 1962 US Open, his first major as a pro, Nicklaus
dared to take the crowd favorite to an 18-hole play-off –
and proceeded to beat him. Although Palmer was to win two majors
that year (and 7 for his career), Nicklaus proved his superior
with 18 majors. The rivalry essentially consisted of this power
shift between two golfing legends and the fan base grew dramatically
to watch these evenly matched events hanging precociously on every
shot. This was a great time for golf and the the greatest rivalry
in golf history. This great photograph was taken at the Team Championships
Tournament around 1971. A classic photo that highlights both their
rivalry and friendship.
Sports Gallery offers this great shot in both 16x20 & 11x14

It was the only time they have played head to head at the only

is double-matted and handsomely framed in mahogany (approximately
20"w x 16"h framed). Having played his final Masters
in 2004, this piece is fitting tribute to Arnie and his longtime

There never has been anyone like
him
before in the game of golf,
and there probably won't be another
like him again.
So
says Jack Nicklaus (and the plate on the 8x10 Sports
Gallery Exclusive Display) of Arnold Palmer. Born in
Pennsylvania, Arnold Palmer is one of the greatest golfers of
the modern era and probably closer to the hearts of the American
public than any golfer before, or after, him. Palmer, affectionately
known as "The King,"
was made for television when it arrived in the 1960s. His great
personality shone through and earned him enormous popularity.
His fans, known as "Arnie's Army,"
often numbered in the thousands at tournaments and were quite
boisterous in their appreciation. In his career, Palmer won 62
PGA Tour events, including the British Open twice, the US Open
once and the Masters four times. Elected to the World Golf Hall
of Fame in 1974, Arnold will always be fondly remembered for his
great achievements and huge personality. These two awesome photos
are both hand-signed by Arnie. The 8x10 display includes a commemorative
plate highlighting Arnold's great golf achievements. The 11x14
is a classi photo of Arnie in the tee box with Jack and Gary Player
signed in blue sharpie by Arnie. Both are
Sports Gallery Quality Framed
in black wood, UV-protective glass (very important for signature
protection!) and classic matting. Great and timeless collectibles
(and investment!) that would look impressive in any office or

ONLY
TWO REMAINING! |
Pebble
Beach is larger than life, boasting mature stands of trees, roller
coaster greens and bunkers in which you could easily hide one of
the bigger sport utility vehicles. If it appears as if the course
has taken a hundred years to develop this way, its because it nearly
has. The first 9-hole track was laid out along the cove in 1913.
Over
the years, Pebble Beach Golf Links has inspired some of golf's most
memorable moments. Perhaps it is its stunning location; perhaps
its famously challenging reputation. Whatever the reason, Pebble
Beach is considered one of the worlds' great golf courses. The U.S.
Open Championship has been played at Pebble Beach four times, most
recently in the year 2000 for its 100th playing. This stunning 16x20
aerial photograph of Pebble Beach's famed 18th Hole (and 17th Green)
is an absolute beauty. And it is deluxed framed in mahogany and
classic matting. Just a stunning piece of Sports Art than any golfer
would cheirsh.

Tiger
Woods new!
2000 US Open at Pebble Beach 16x20
|
$129
Web Special! $99.95 |
He's
baaaaaack! That's right Tiger is once again on top of the Golf World
reaching the #1 ranking for the first time since 2010. We all know
the Tiger story. The son of a African-American father and a Thai
mother, he was a college star at Stanford and became the only three-time
(1994–96) U.S. Amateur Champion before turning professional
in 1997. And in his first season, he won the 1997 Masters in a runaway.
Tiger won the PGA Championship and simply dominated golf in 1999.
In 2000, Woods won the U.S. and British opens and PGA Championship,
setting or tying several records in the process and becoming the
youngest of only five golfers to achieve a modern career Grand Slam.
Woods's victory at the Masters in 2001 made him the first golfer
to win all four major professional championships in a row. He has
since won the Masters (2002, 2005), U.S. Open (2002, 2008), British
Open (2005–6), and PGA Championship (2006–7) twice,
and achieved more than 50 tournament victories by age 30, a PGA
record. But as we all know, personal troubles took over and Tiger
hit the first major slump of his career. But now he appears to be
back on track. Love him or hate him, a golf tournament is always
more interesting when Tiger is in contention. This great 16x20 photo
is from his historic 2000 US Open at Pebble Beach. It was the 100th
US Open and Tiger won by a Major record-breaking 15 strokes. It
was the start of his "Tiger Slam," his most dominating
year of Golf. Sports Gallery Quality Framed with Floating Plate
this is a great piece of Sports Art
from one of the greatest golfers of All-Time.
